Apex Medical Technologies, Inc. is a small, up-and-coming medical device company with a new and expanding product-line. We are currently looking to hire an Engineering Intern to assist in automating several key steps in our manufacturing process as we scale-up. This automation will include the setup and implementation of a computer controlled robotic system.

Employer: Apex Medical Technologies, Inc.
Position Title: Engineering Intern
Description:
Assist in the setup of a computer controlled robotic system used in the production of a medical device. Assist in the development of electrical systems and control devices. Assist engineering staff with the development and qualification of biomedical materials and medical devices. Assist in the development of suitable manufacturing methods to fabricate medical devices and medical device components. Design, conduct, and write reports for various experiments. Report such results through written or verbal presentations. Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
Student with a major in Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering. Some prior job experience. Fluent in written and spoken English. Completion of at least some college laboratory work. Strong computer interface and electrical engineering skills preferred.
